Speaker:

On Saturday, March

2

:

30th, Joe Biden issued a proclamation

that Sunday, Easter Sunday

3

:

this year was going to also

be the Transgender Day of Visibility.

4

:

Now, this set off a firestorm online,

a different podcast

5

:

on news networks

and radio shows and justifiably so

6

:

because Joe Biden, his administration

and the Democratic Party

7

:

know no bounds, no limits

8

:

to their fealty to victimhood.

9

:

But the outrage

10

:

over this proclamation,

while it is warranted,

11

:

we are losing sight of what is truly

12

:

the main thing.

13

:

Welcome to Counter Thought.

14

:

I've been gone for two weeks, gone

for spring break,

15

:

trying to take care

of some personal things this past week.

16

:

But I hope you enjoyed your Easter Sunday,

your Transgender Day of Visibility,

17

:

also known as your Oyster Sunday

with very large bunnies.

18

:

Now, if you have

no idea what that last joke was about,

19

:

then you don't watch the news

as closely as I do.

20

:

But that's why I am here.

21

:

That is why I am here to bring the news,

22

:

the political news,

the cultural news to you.

23

:

So on Saturday,

24

:

I know

this is going to be released on Wednesday.

25

:

So we're a couple of days passed,

but the firestorm, the backlash continues.

26

:

On Saturday,

President Biden issued a proclamation,

27

:

a proclamation

for the Transgender Day of Visibility.

28

:

Now, while this has caused a huge uproar

online

29

:

on different broadcasts, different shows,

different podcasts,

30

:

and justifiably so.

31

:

The main thing, in my opinion,

is is being lost.

32

:

To me, there is another element of this

that is actually encouraging and uplifting

33

:

for those of us who are Christians

and who see what is happening

34

:

in this administration,

35

:

in the leadership of our country

and really around the world.

36

:

But before we

get into that, I want to talk a little bit

37

:

about the history

of this Transgender Day of Visibility.

38

:

So did you know, first and foremost,

that the Transgender Day of Visibility

39

:

began in 2009?

40

:

And you may be thinking,

okay,:

41

:

Obama.

42

:

And then after Obama, Trump and now Biden.

43

:

So the Transgender Day of Visibility

44

:

has been around for for a while, right?

45

:

It seems like you can just kind of come up

with days that on a whim,

46

:

for whatever reason you want,

there's not too much of a process to it.

47

:

Actually, according to do glad

there are around

48

:

145 days in the US

49

:

calendar that are dedicated or,

you know, recognizing

50

:

some form of LGBTQ, i.e. plus

51

:

145 that's creeping pretty close

to almost half of our days

52

:

as some type of of tie into

53

:

to that community.

54

:

But while this has been around since 2009,

President Biden

55

:

is actually the first president

to issue a proclamation.

56

:

He is the first one to go

the more formal traditional route

57

:

to issue a proclamation for for this day.

58

:

Obama didn't do it.

59

:

Trump didn't do it.

60

:

But Biden has done it.

61

:

Biden has done it.

62

:

And this is not surprising

because the Biden administration

63

:

and he doesn't even know what's going on,

but his administration

64

:

and collectively a large group

within the Democratic Party

65

:

believe that all of this is is necessary.

66

:

I believe they believe that

the transgender people have not been seen.

67

:

That is why they

need this day of visibility.

68

:

And you

69

:

hear that in the proclamation

issued by Biden in his White House.

70

:

So let me let me read the proclamation

to you all parts of it,

71

:

because it's kind of lengthy, much longer

than the Easter statement, by the way.

72

:

It goes.

73

:

“Transgender Day of Visibility celebrates

the joy, strength and absolute courage

74

:

of some of the bravest people

I know, people who have too

75

:

often had to put their jobs, relationships

and lives on the line

76

:

just to be their true selves.

77

:

True selves.

78

:

Today, we show millions of transgender

and non-binary Americans that we see them.

79

:

They belong, and they should be treated

with dignity and respect.”

80

:

“Their courage has given countless

others strength.

81

:

But no one should have to be brave

just to be themselves.

82

:

Every American deserves that freedom.

83

:

We're going to

84

:

dive into this in a little bit here.

85

:

It continues.

86

:

My administration has fought to end

these injustices, injustices from day one,

87

:

working to ensure that transgender people

in the entire LGBTQIA+ community

88

:

can live openly and safely.”

89

:

“There is much more to do.

90

:

I will continue to call on Congress

to finally pass the Equality Act to extend

91

:

long overdue civil rights protections

to all LGBTQIA+ Americans.

92

:

America is founded on the idea

that all people are created equal

93

:

and deserve to be treated

equally throughout their lives.

94

:

We have never fully lived up to that.

95

:

But we have never walked away from it

either.”

96

:

“Today, Sunday, March 31st.

97

:

As we celebrate chance transgender people,

98

:

we also celebrate every American's

fundamental right to be themselves.

99

:

Bringing us closer

to realizing America's full promise.

100

:

Now, therefore, I.

101

:

Joseph Biden, Junior

president of the United States of America,

102

:

by the authority of the Constitution

and the laws of the United States,

103

:

I hereby proclaim March 31st,

104

:

2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility.”

105

:

“I call upon all Americans to join us

in lifting up

106

:

the lives and voices of transgender people

throughout our nation.

107

:

Eliminating violence and discrimination

against all transgender,

108

:

gender

nonconforming and non-binary people.”

109

:

So that is the

110

:

the proclamation.

111

:

Now, a couple of things

that were stated in

112

:

in that proclamation.

113

:

Joe Biden talks about

114

:

where the proclamation talks about

115

:

enabling the transgender people,

protecting them

116

:

so that they can be their true selves.

117

:

Now, I hope that's not lost on you

because, you know, that's

118

:

that's a little ironic

because if they are changing their gender,

119

:

but this goes back to their belief,

120

:

the progressive belief,

meaning in the Democratic Party

121

:

and the the mental state of individuals

who are transgender,

122

:

that they believe

that their biological sex,

123

:

their gender, that they were assigned

at birth

124

:

is not their true selves.

125

:

That is why they state and see

and use this terminology,

126

:

because they believe

that they are not their true selves.

127

:

Now, we all know that there is

128

:

something mentally off

129

:

in these individuals.

130

:

We know that there is

that they need some type of mental.

131

:

Of mental help.

132

:

But if you say that and you say

that could be part of the solution to,

133

:

you know, to doing gender mutilation.

134

:

Right on children

135

:

that you can not state those things,

136

:

that you are just being dismissive

and you are denying those individuals

137

:

of their

their freedom to be their true selves

138

:

in the Democratic Party.

139

:

Joe Biden, he says he believes this right.

140

:

We have to take him at his word.

141

:

He issued the proclamation.

142

:

His White House for sure believes

this is the fealty to the victimhood.

143

:

Right. You heard it in the statement,

144

:

the fealty to the victimhood status

145

:

that many Americans,

transgender Americans,

146

:

are not able to live the lives

that they want to live,

147

:

to enjoy the freedoms of this country

that they are are victims,

148

:

that there is violence against them,

that they cannot feel confident

149

:

in being their true selves.

150

:

But Joe Biden

151

:

isn't the only one to go

152

:

above and beyond.

153

:

He's not the only one to go above

and beyond for this Transgender

154

:

Day of Visibility, because who is there to

to follow him up on this proclamation?

155

:

Governor Kathy Hochul of New York.

156

:

Now, Governor Hopewell, you know, she was

157

:

she took over for Cuomo when he was ousted

158

:

and then she actually won reelection,

159

:

surprisingly, but also not surprisingly,

but won reelection.

160

:

And she's just been terrible

while she's been governor of New York.

161

:

You know, most recently,

she issued the National Guard

162

:

to help with the subways right.

163

:

In the violence,

in making the subways more safe. But

164

:

when Republicans mentioned doing that,

you know, a

165

:

greater police force,

you know, you couldn't do that.

166

:

You can't say that.

167

:

You can say that you would be called

racist.

168

:

Right.

169

:

There would be an injustice

170

:

to poor people.

171

:

There'd be an injustice

172

:

to those who feel like

they must hop over and skip the fare.

173

:

It would be an injustice to the homeless

or the unhoused.

174

:

People couldn't do that.

175

:

But when reality smacks you in the face.

176

:

Governor Hook was I asked National Guard,

177

:

we're going to increase

our law enforcement presence.

178

:

So in her truest form, no surprise,

179

:

she issues a proclamation

or statement of sorts

180

:

to have all of the landmarks in New York,

the primary landmarks

181

:

to be lit up in rainbow colors

for the Transgender Day of Visibility,

182

:

which, mind you, this year falls on Easter

183

:

Sunday.

184

:

And Governor Hochul, President Biden

185

:

and many others would call themselves

Christians or devout Catholics.

186

:

Biden definitely refers to himself

as a devout Catholic.

187

:

Numerous times during his presidency

and during his his entire time

188

:

in Congress.

189

:

So following that vein,

190

:

Biden then

191

:

begins to

talk out of the other side of his mouth.

192

:

He also issues an Easter statement.

193

:

Pretty good statement.

194

:

Very short.

195

:

One paragraph,

196

:

the Transgender Day of Visibility

197

:

was about six paragraphs.

198

:

But anyway,

199

:

he's trying to talk out both sides.

200

:

Was not the issue an Easter statement.

201

:

And I want you to

202

:

remember what was said in the Transgender

Day of Visibility Proclamation

203

:

and then listen to what is stated here

204

:

in this Easter statement.

205

:

Jill and I send our warmest wishes

206

:

to Christians around the world

celebrating Easter Sunday.

207

:

Easter reminds us of the power of hope

and the promise of Christ's

208

:

resurrection as we gather with loved ones.

209

:

We remember Jesus as sacrifice.

210

:

We pray for one another and cherish the

blessing of the dawn of new possibilities.

211

:

End with wars and conflict taking a toll

on innocent lives around the world.

212

:

We renew our commitment to work for peace,

213

:

security and dignity for all people.

214

:

We heard dignity in the Transgender

Day of Visibility Statement

215

:

from our family to yours.

216

:

Happy Easter and may God bless you.

217

:

Now, the change in your statement

of visibility mentions

218

:

how transgender LGBTQ A-plus individuals

219

:

are made in the image of God,

220

:

which is true.

221

:

But the end of that verse

222

:

from Genesis 127 is excluded

not only in the proclamation,

223

:

but also whenever you hear it

just in your day to day life,

224

:

you don't hear the full verse,

the end of the verse,

225

:

and especially for this Transgender Day

of Visibility proclamation,

226

:

you cannot include that

because what does it say?

227

:

I will read it to you.

228

:

This is Genesis 1:27 NIV version.

229

:

You know, this is wrapping up

230

:

Genesis 1, that the creation

231

:

of heaven and earth,

the people, the animals, everything.

232

:

Genesis 1:27.

233

:

“So God created mankind in his own image.

234

:

In the image of God, he created the male

235

:

and female.” He created them

236

:

male and female. He created them.

237

:

And that is why you do not

that is not included

238

:

in the proclamation.

239

:

They want to have these have Christians.

240

:

They find the squishy Christians,

as they're called, to be like,

241

:

yeah, like we are supposed to love.

242

:

Yes, we're supposed to love, you know,

and and God would love these individuals.

243

:

Jesus would love these individuals.

244

:

Yes, he would. And he does.

245

:

So they're trying to manipulate you

246

:

by leaving out the end of that verse, man,

247

:

male and female.

248

:

There's no nonbinary

249

:

and non-binary individual.

250

:

That's not how God created us.

251

:

That's not how God

created everyone in this world.

252

:

Whether you are a Christian or not

a Christian, you are created male

253

:

or female, not nonbinary, not

254

:

change your gender, not God got it wrong

when he first created, you know.

255

:

But they can't include that

because that is completely

256

:

against what they are proclaiming

or claiming to be true.

257

:

The individuals are being their true

selves,

258

:

not the self that God created them to be,

but their true selves.

259

:

And this is woven

throughout this mentality on the left.

260

:

Know your truth. My truth.

261

:

You know, my truth isn't

necessarily objective or absolute truth,

262

:

right?

263

:

Everything has

264

:

is is not factual, right?

265

:

The truth is not necessarily

the truth, according to me.

266

:

It's according to what makes me feel good

and what justifies

267

:

my behavior or what

268

:

allows me to feel comfortable

269

:

with who I am.

270

:

So Joe Biden

271

:

issues that proclamation.

272

:

Huge uproar, right?

273

:

Public blowback was outrageous.

274

:

I'm sitting here trying to have a nice,

quiet Easter weekend

275

:

and my phone is blowing up

276

:

with people I follow on x

277

:

reading news articles popping up on

different apps, all talking about this.

278

:

And I'm like,

what in the world is going on?

279

:

Sure enough, it's the proclamation.

280

:

And yes,

281

:

it has always been

282

:

since I guess 29 on March 31st

283

:

and Easter bounces around year after year.

284

:

But this year, you know, they lined up

285

:

and that is what this big uproar

was about.

286

:

As I mentioned earlier,

you had people on air,

287

:

you had congressmen, you had news outlets,

288

:

you had other media outlets,

you had podcasters, you had radio hosts.

289

:

You have just people who are

290

:

famous, people who are also

291

:

Christians speaking out about this, how

this is a slap in the face and a disgrace.

292

:

And Biden,

who claims to be a devout Catholic,

293

:

should be ashamed of himself.

294

:

So the weekend rolls out,

295

:

the Easter weekend ends,

296

:

and obviously there are going

to be questions by certain outlets

297

:

about this at the Monday press

briefing at the White House.

298

:

So, Karine Jean-Pierre,

299

:

what does she do?

300

:

you know, Republicans are politicizing

this.

301

:

She's not the only one who's saying this.

302

:

It's other pundits on on,

you know, MSNBC, ABC, CNN.

303

:

Even squishy Republicans are saying this,

you know,

304

:

who've kind of turn to the dark side

right?

305

:

They're saying,

Republicans are just politicizing this.

306

:

You know, this is an opportunity

instead of having respect for those

307

:

who are part of the

LGBTQ eye, a plus community,

308

:

this goes right along with what

we were stating about them being victims.

309

:

And because it's because Republicans

and conservatives are

310

:

unloving

and using this to make a political

311

:

to score political points.

312

:

And then Joe Biden, somehow

they got a hold of them, the media,

313

:

somehow they got a hold of them

to get his his response.

314

:

And when asked about, you know, hey,

what gives?

315

:

What gives?

316

:

Why did you have to issue a proclamation?

317

:

Why couldn't it just be the day that it is

without an official proclamation

318

:

from the White House?

319

:

Why not issue the proclamation

320

:

and move it for a day to be April 1st

or move it up a day to be March 30th?

321

:

Or just like Obama and Trump didn't do?

322

:

Trump did not even issue a proclamation.

323

:

Like I said, there are 145 days

according to GLAD

324

:

that are dedicated to LGBTQ community.

325

:

Not all of them receive a proclamation.

326

:

So this was intentional.

327

:

But when Biden was asked about this

328

:

in the public blowback,

what was his response?

329

:

I didn't do that.

330

:

I didn't do that

331

:

was asked two questions. One,

332

:

is he telling the truth?

333

:

If he's telling the truth

and he didn't do that,

334

:

then that means, as we've,

you know, suspected a lot for a long time.

335

:

Now that Biden is not in charge

of the White House and someone else is

336

:

just running with this, communications

teams, advisors, strategists,

337

:

and they're just doing

whatever they want.

338

:

And basically signing his name off on it

because this was official proclamation

339

:

which did have his name right.

340

:

Basically his signature on the paper

341

:

okaying this.

342

:

So if he's telling the truth

and he didn't do that,

343

:

then that means that he is not in charge,

344

:

that his

345

:

communications team is just doing

whatever they feel

346

:

they can do, whatever is necessary,

whatever they want to do,

347

:

or he's lying and felt like

this is the best thing politically for me

348

:

and my administration is to say,

I didn't do that.

349

:

You know, I'm not responsible for this.

350

:

And then he can hold on to

351

:

those who believe, you know, that

352

:

that he is being a a good person.

353

:

Right.

354

:

That he is being staying true to his

355

:

staying true to Catholicism.

356

:

Polls show that

357

:

the majority of people don't see Biden as

358

:

as a Christian

359

:

based upon his policies

and the things that he says.

360

:

And then he does.

361

:

But there is a portion,

362

:

a cohort of his of his voters

who still believe that.

363

:

And again,

he's trying to talk out both sides

364

:

of his mouth.

365

:

He has to continue to pledge fealty

366

:

to victimhood

367

:

while also trying to maintain

368

:

and hold onto the Christian Democrats

369

:

so they will vote for him.

370

:

But the main takeaway,

371

:

my main takeaway from this whole situation

372

:

and again, this happened over the weekend

373

:

and then Monday and Tuesday of this week

is when it really played out.

374

:

And this is being released on Wednesday.

375

:

So the story is is beginning to fade.

376

:

But most of the story, much like this

episode, has been focused

377

:

on the backlash,

the uproar, the disrespect.

378

:

Right. The

379

:

the shenanigans that that is this day,

a proclamation.

380

:

And it being on Easter this year.

381

:

But the main thing to me,

382

:

the main thing to me

that has not been discussed too much

383

:

that is getting lost in all of this,

384

:

is this reminder,

385

:

this reminder that, yes,

the outrage is warranted.

386

:

Yes, the Democratic Party

has a fealty to victimhood.

387

:

We see it time and time and time again,

virtue

388

:

signaling at the wazoo.

389

:

But despite

390

:

all of the government power,

despite what the president

391

:

of the United States

says, despite the proclamations

392

:

that are released that are issued

393

:

by the president of the United States,

394

:

Jesus is overall

395

:

God is overall

396

:

Jesus,

397

:

as we celebrate on Easter, overcame death.

398

:

He is the only

399

:

religious figure

400

:

who is alive.

401

:

Jesus overcame death.

402

:

Easter.

403

:

The reason we celebrate

it will overcome this day of proclamation.

404

:

The calendars lined up

and it caused this huge firestorm.

405

:

People were outraged and justifiably so.

406

:

But do not lose sight

407

:

that much like how Jesus overcame death.

408

:

His resurrection,

409

:

Easter and Jesus are also going to

410

:

and have already over overcome

411

:

the shenanigans and the fealty

and the decisions

412

:

that are being made by those

in our current government leadership,

413

:

not only here in America,

but also around the world.

414

:

So when things like this happen,

do not lose

415

:

sight of the big picture.

416

:

Despite what the government says

417

:

or does proclamations,

they issue beliefs that they have.

418

:

Yes, it impacts

us, impacts us in our daily lives.

419

:

But remember

420

:

that Jesus is overall

421

:

and Jesus has overcame death

for you and me.

422

:

And Jesus and Easter

423

:

have already overcome

424

:

this day of proclamation.

425

:

Do not lose sight of the strength

426

:

and the wonder of Jesus Christ.

427

:

He We are all children of God.

428

:

We were all created in His image,

429

:

male and female.

430

:

So despite what is said,

what someone's truth may be, and despite

431

:

who it comes from, and the influence

or the power that they may have,

432

:

remember that Jesus paid it all

433

:

and He has already overcome it.

I was born and raised in Florida, and currently reside in Orlando! I grew up in a Christian household, and accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was 8 years old then renewed my relationship with Him when I moved to Orlando almost 10 years ago. I am a 2x graduate of the University of Florida--there was never a question if I was going to attend anywhere else! I bleed Orange and Blue. Sports has always been a passion of mine, however, I made room for this podcast to be a new passion as I fight for the freedom, culture and values of America. I hope you enjoy!
